About the Foundation
The GCE Erode Innovation Hub Foundation (GCEE IHF), established in 2026 as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013, is the official incubation and innovation centre of the Government College of Engineering, Erode (GCEE) under the Startup Tamil Nadu initiative.
The Foundation promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven startups by supporting students, faculty, researchers, and aspiring entrepreneurs from idea generation to startup creation. It provides mentorship, incubation support, prototype development, networking opportunities, industry collaboration, and access to funding, helping transform innovative ideas into proof-of-concepts (PoCs), prototypes and market-ready ventures.
Building on GCEE's entrepreneurial ecosystem through the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (2013) and the Innovative Product Development Centre (2018), the Foundation aims to strengthen the regional startup ecosystem by fostering innovation, supporting technology, and creating sustainable entrepreneurial ventures.
